beauty of stockholm, sweden.

it was a reward to myself. it was a good one. Stockholm is so great. one of the best out of so many European countries.

i such love the old town, Gamla Stan. so beautiful. so cultural. so Europe. so ancient. so clean. so lovely. so cute. though a bit expensive, it was almost perfect.

a restaurant in old town. it was originally a prison; aged more than 600 years. i just love it so much. it was a cool basement. u must watch this video! (somehow i can't upload it huhu)

i had the must-try Swedish meatball in the loveliest restaurant. yummmmmy.

the Royal Palace was just a few steps away from the hostel i stayed. the guards were not like those in London. they moved quite a bit! those standing outside the White Palace in London wouldn't even move an inch. just so still. like they won't ever feel itchy or bored.

sunny day is the best background for pictures.

i was shocked to see the Nobel Museum, never knew that Alfred Nobel was from Sweden. it wasn't every much introduced in the maps and the entrance was ju st 4pounds. such a small museum. the tour guide from the museum said "this museum is about ideas, not objects." so there u go, SMALL. no cameras allowed. so no pictures here for u.

Stockholm city hall. the Alfred award dinner is held here every year, on the 9th December.
u don't have to be a Laurette to be in this place.

Vasa museum. the ship sank not very long after it started its sail. it was a huge piece.

it was the Swedish National Day eve. there were so many lorries carrying young girls who were screaming and shouting with bottles of alcohol for no reason. u just w ould wonder why were they so happy. just like those people back in Malaysia celebrating Hari Kebangsaan. c'mon you n i are not that patriotic but somehow some people just show extreme glee on that day. somehow.

Swedish version of MALAYSIA BOLEH!

then it was the National Day. flags were given everywhere for free. the old town was so so happening. so packed. i can't tell u enough how much i m in love with the old town.

IcE-BAr!!!!!!! it was like -5degree in there. so freezing cold. the bartender was really cute.

ICE.

ice-cream was ubiquitous in Stockholm, everyone was holding ice-cream as if they couldn't live without it. there was this old old aunty licking on the ice-cream like she loved it so much. i couldn't help but looked at her, it was just so cute!

Away from the beautiful old town, heading to the modern city of Stockholm.
The busiest park ever, Kungstradgarden.
I can't read Swedish, but this must be Malaysian satay!
WILD is beauty.

i love u Stockholm.
